I decided that it would be a good idea to bring my camera along with me to our engagement shoot with our wedding photographer last week. That decision was one I did not regret. We walked all through the North Side and ended up at Lake Elizabeth. I stuck around for some HDR’s afterwards as it was the perfect night for photography. The lighting was great all evening long. Shortly after taking this photo, it started to pour while the sun kept shining. I recall Jacquie, my Fiance, asking me if i were done as it was raining. I looked at her like she was crazy and continued shooting. Usually, I am really finicky about my camera getting even a drop of water on it. The clouds and lighting was just too perfect to worry about a weather-proof camera getting a bit wet. Needless to say, it did survive the mini downpour and got some really awesome photos out of it!
